Ubud is Bali’s cultural heart. The surrounding Ubud District’s rainforest and terraced rice paddies, dotted with Hindu temples and shrines, are among Bali’s most famous landscapes. This tour will take you to experience the best of Ubud has to offer including Batuan Temple, Sacred Ubud Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Coffee Plantation with Tasting/Swing, Tegalalang Rice Terrace and Tegenungan Waterfall.
Start with hotel pickup at 08.30 am, then drive approximately 1-hour from most of the hotels centrally located. Visit Batuan Temple, Balinese Hindu temple featuring well-preserved stone carvings & sculptures. Sacred Ubud Monkey Forest Sanctuary, the natural habitat of the Balinese long-tailed monkeys. Coffee Plantation with Tasting/Swing, walk around the jungle plantation to learn more about the traditional coffee process with coffees/teas tasting (swing-ride available here!).
Proceeded to Tegalalang Rice Terrace, scenic terraced hillside offering rice paddies amid lush greenery. Afterward visit Tegenungan Waterfall, at around 66 feet (20 meters) high, features a viewing point to the jungle and waterfall at the main entrance or climbable after the descent downstairs to reach it. Tour ends with a hotel drop-off.
Places to Visit:

  • 1. Batuan Temple

    Batuan Temple is a type of local Balinese Hindu temple located at Batuan village. This temple was founded in the year 944 Caka calendar (1020 AD), and it is designed beautifully with Balinese ornaments and carving. In spite of this, the temple roof is made of black palm tree fiber. Because this place is a sacred area, we are required to put on Kamen “traditional cloth”. (Ticket Price: IDR 10.000/person).

  • 2. Sacred Ubud Monkey Forest Sanctuary

    Ubud Monkey Forest is a small rain forest dwelt by some groups of monkeys. It uses a concept named Tri Hita Karana “three causes of well-being”, a traditional philosophy for life: harmony among people, harmony with the environment, and harmony with God. Besides, this monkey forest is dwelt by more less 700 long-tailed monkeys. (Ticket Price: IDR 80.000/person).

  • 3. Coffee Plantation with Tasting/Swing

    Taste authentic Bali coffees/teas located in a lush jungle setting and take walk to learn more about the traditional process. Experience the swing-ride with amazing scenery “swing-ride available here!”. (Ticket Price: IDR Optional).

  • 4. Tegalalang Rice Terrace

    Tegalalang is one of the countrysides that is located only 5 km northern part of Ubud village. This rice terrace had been designed beautifully with layers on fields. Get ready to see the beautiful panorama of valley with rice terraces and coconut trees around the fields, and discover this place by doing a little trekking along the rice fields.   • 5. Tegenungan Waterfall

    Tegenungan Waterfall is a unique waterfall for its lush green forest and heavy water flow. This village is located near to the village of Ubud. It is popular with a waterfall that has been a selection of places that is fun to visit. To get to this waterfall we need to take some steps down. (Ticket Price: IDR 20.000/person).
